Halloween is the time of the year when there are many Halloween costume parties around that are a lot of fun. It is the time to have lots of fun and see your friends and relatives while wearing different kinds of colorful costumes. You will see costumes like animal costumes, monster costumes, fairy tale costumes, and more during such celebrations. All kinds of people, young and old, are sure to enjoy such gatherings.

But no matter how fun these celebrations are, there are still difficulties involved in such gatherings. Of course, the host will spend lots of money on these parties. The schedule of the ones invited is another problem. However, choosing a costume is, for me, the hardest problem during costume parties. Choosing a costume theme can be hard. However, with a little patience and being updated with the latest craze, it will be a lot more easier. Below are some costume themes for costume parties that are popular.

The first choice of the majority of people when choosing a costume are Television/Film themed costumes. People opt for such costumes because they are popular and will be a big hit. Some examples of these costumes are Star Wars, Twilight Saga, or Toy Story costumes. It is really fun to see people wearing popular costumes such as a Edward Cullen, Han Solo, or a Shrek Donkey Costume. During costume parties, the majority will wear costumes that are TV or film inspired.

Fairy Tale inspired costumes are another choice for a Halloween costume. These kind of costume are specially popular for young kids and ladies. As the name suggest, the people who choose this theme dress up as a Fairy Tale character.

Also another popular choice are Animal themed costumes. The common animal choices for such costumes are dogs, cats, and rats. There are also Animal costumes that are TV/film inspired such as a Shrek Donkey Costume, a Garfield costume, a Snoopy costume, or Disney characters costumes.

Monster themed costumes are the last but not the least on our list of costume themes this coming Halloween. These costumes are really popular especially during Halloweens for obvious reasons. Zombies, Ogres, Vampires, and Werewolves are the common choices for such costumes.
