The green movement has exploded over the past few years. While it was gaining momentum for a while, it really wasn’t until lately that it started to gain some steam. Many years ago there was only a small segment of the population that voiced their opinion and concern for the environment. These people were nicknamed “tree huggers” or “granolas.”
Things have changed from the old days where only a select few individuals voiced their opinions about the way we treat our planet. Living eco-consciously is the “in” thing to do today and many people are starting to live greener simply due to peer and societal pressures. It is suddenly cool to come to the grocery store with a reusable shopping bag! Whatever their motivation, it is a good thing that we’re all more and more concerned about adopting a greener lifestyle.
And since Corporate America is never afraid to jump on board of the latest societal craze, it’s become desirable in the marketing world to be able to offer up green alternatives, being green has never been easier! It used to be a more difficult adjustment, and we still need to be leery of supposed green companies that aren’t really green at all.
Looking for ideas for ways to get started? There are many simple and easy things that you can start doing. Even doing them every once in a while is better than not doing them at all, so don’t think I’m trying to tell you to completely change the way you live your life. For example, a couple of easy things that we can all do are:

Additionally, begin to use reusable dry cleaning bags for your dry cleaning to help cut down on plastic bag usage.
You can also do more walking, bicycling and carpooling. It might not always be convenient, but there’s really no arguing that doing any of the three saves loads of nonrenewable energy as well as pollution from car exhaust. Lobby for bike trails in your community. Start a trend by walking your kids to school if you’re within a reasonable distance. You won’t believe the amount of people in your neighborhood that will observe this and soon, you’ll have a whole community greeting each other in the morning as they save the planet and walk the kids to school.
Last but not least, begin replacing old light bulbs with energy efficient lightbulbs for your house. Switching to compact florescent lights (CFLs) will reduce your energy consumption. In fact, if every house in America were to change just 3 of their normal 60-watt bulbs to CFLs, we could save the energy equivalent of taking 3.5 million cars off the road.

Every man’s dream is to take off his shirt and have an amazing set of six pack abs. These are the ultimate symbol of fitness and strength and the number one thing that most women say makes a man sexy. In order to get ripped abs, you need to understand how your stomach muscles respond to exercise and get stronger. Just like your biceps, you need to lift heavy weights in order to stimulate muscle growth. You wouldn’t expect to do curls with 10 pound dumbbells 100 times and get massive biceps, you would use a heavy weight and do 10 reps or so until you couldn’t do any more. You would probably repeat this a few times and have your bicep workout consist of 3 sets of 10 repetitions. Does this sound familiar? I bet it does.
Ab exercises for men who want to sport a six pack need to follow the same premise as building muscle anywhere else on your body. The way you do this with ab exercises is to find exercises that you can use weights with. One good one is to do decline crunches while holding on to a weight plate. Try to do 3 sets of 10 to 15 repetitions. When this gets easy at one weight, start using a heavier weight. If you are doing leg lifts to build your lower ab muscles, use some ankle weights to make the exercises more difficult. Remember, do exercises that are challenging enough that you can’t do very many. This will force your muscles to respond by growing bigger and this will make your abdominal muscles bigger and that is what you need to sport a six pack.
Just doing a lot of ab exercises for men is not enough to get you a set of six pack abs. You need to be able to see them as well. This means you have to get rid of belly fat. If you have a body fat percentage of 15%, you certainly won’t be sporting a six pack. This means you will have to eat well and do calorie burning exercises in addition to your muscle building exercises. However, if you are willing to put the time into doing quality abdominal exercises and eating a healthy diet, you can be rewarded with the ultimate fitness prize – a perfect set of six pack abs.
You should check with your doctor before starting any diet or exercise program to make sure there aren’t any hidden health issues you should know about. In most cases, there isn’t anything that will prevent you from exercising or dieting, but you should check to be sure.

Here in the United States, “fair market value” on any item is determined by what a buyer is willing to pay a seller for the item. Simply put, if I have a stick of gum, and I offer it to you for ten cents, and you want to purchase it for ten cents, then the fair market value of the stick of gum is ten cents. While real estate also has a fair market value, it is a bit harder to determine because of all the factors which go into the valuation.
